Recording video - top tips

Sharing your story is a powerful way to support our cause and recording a high quality video will help get your message across to people more effectively. Here are our top tips to help you record your best video.

1. Hold your phone in a portrait (upright) position - if you have a stand or tripod then put your phone on that to make it more stable​

2. Find a quiet space with lots of light - this could be in a well lit room or outdoors

3. Switch your phone to the front facing camera

4. Make sure your face fills the screen with a narrow border around the edge

5. Get the light source behind the camera - face the window if inside or the direction of the sun if outside. Take off your sunglasses if you can. The eyes are the window to the soul!

6. Keep your video short. Try to aim for a 30 second video
