Our position

Sadly in today’s world a lot of people suffer. That’s a heartbreaking truth. However, if the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill becomes law the most vulnerable will be at the greatest risk. "Suicide" or "state-sponsored killing" - the end will be the same: people's lives will be ended needlessly prematurely.

In a world where discrimination and prejudice shape disabled people’s daily realities, true choice and free decision making are an illusion. The irreversible risks of this bill and harms to vulnerable people outweigh any “benefits” to this legalisation. This isn’t just about policy. It’s about who lives and who dies.
